Course Goal

to teach the codifications that occurred in the classical, renewal, accounting and quest periods and to compare them with the contemporary period.

Civil and criminal codifications that occurred in different geographies and periods in the history of Islamic law

LO05 Knows the law studies in the Ottoman Empire after the Tanzimat and the effect of western law on these studies.
