Course Goal / Objective
To understand the basic features of molecular forensic genetics and molecular forensic biology, to introduce potential forensic applications.
Course Content
Biological evidence, Laboratory anti-contamination procedures. Nuclear and mitochondrial DNA. DNA isolation, PCR, STR, SNP, sequencing, electrophoresis. Interpretation and reporting of DNA results.
