Course Goal

It is aimed that students will be able to explain the pharmacokinetic properties, mechanism of action, use, side effects, interactions with other drugs of drugs abused for doping in athletes.

Course Content

Drugs used for doping purposes determined by the World Anti-Doping Agency, anabolic agents, peptide hormones, growth factors, beta-2 agonists, hormone and metabolic modulators, diuretics and masking agents, stimulants, narcotics, cannabinoids, glucocorticoids pharmacokinetic properties, mechanism of action, side effects effects and interactions with other drugs
