Course Goal / Objective

Having knowledge DNA polymorphisms Understand the concept of short tandem repeats (STR); Learning the sequence of steps involved in DNA typing

Course Content

Human genome, DNA polymorphisms in the genome, general DNA sources,biological sample collection, storage, transfer, evidence delivery chain, legislation regarding as molecular genetic analysis, forensic DNA analysis methods, evaluation of the STR results, interpretation of the statistical results.
