Course Goal
Increasing the knowledge of students about the cultivation of berry fruits
Course Content
The condition of our country in some important berry fruits (Strawberry, Raspberry, Blackberry, Blueberry and Aronia), current cultivars and growing systems, ecological demands and information on plant nutrition will be shared. In addition to this, species-specific quality parameters will be examined as well as cultivar breeding suitable for our country's conditions. Finally, in addition to propagation methods and current propagation methods, molecular methods used for fruit breeding will be discussed.
