Course Learning Outcomes

Order Course Learning Outcomes
LO01 defines toxicology, types of toxic substances, and methods of exposure.
LO02 Discuss how drugs and other xenobiotics are metabolized in the body
LO03 explains the tissue specific distribution of toxic substances
LO04 Distinguishes Phase 1 (metabolism) and Phase 2 (conjugation) biotransformation
LO05 Comprehend the role of enzyme induction and inhibition for biotransformation
LO06 Understand the mode of action and side effects of chemicals as a consequence of xenobiotic metabolism.
