Course Goal / Objective
Will be able to explain the ethical principles in scientific research and publication processes. Explains the ethical rules about the research process and its results. Explains the ethical rules about the research participants. Explains the ethical rules about the publication and presentation process. and discuss the ways to prevent these behaviors. Lists unethical behaviors in science. Questions the causes of unethical behaviors in science. Examines ways to prevent unethical behaviors in science. Discusses the relationship between unethical behaviors in science and education. Will be able to examine professional ethics. Explains the rules about professional ethics. Discusses the behaviors. Examines case studies involving unethical behaviors related to professional ethics. Compares the rules of professional ethics in different countries.

Science and Basic Concepts, The structure of scientific research, Scientific methods, Problem determination, Research model, Sampling, Data collection methods, Data collection, Recording, analysis, interpretation and reporting of the data as well as ethical rules about these processes
