Course Goal

Electrode kinetics; basic electrode kinetics theories; Butler-Volmer equation and its applications; overvoltage; current-potential relationships with different charged interfaces; applying kinetic laws to equilibrium and polarized electrodes; to gain basic knowledge about research and investigation methods.

Course Content

Electrode kinetics; load transfer, symmetry factor, basic electrode kinetics theories, Butler-Volmer equation and its applications, over voltage, current-potential relations with different charged interfaces, application of kinetic laws to equilibrium and polarized electrodes; The course is taught through theoretical courses, examples and practices.
