Course Goal / Objective

To inform about the usage areas and production methods of functional ceramics.

Course Content

Introduction to functional ceramics, microstructure and properties of functional, ceramics grain boundary phenomena of functional ceramics, fabrication processes for functional ceramics, characterization methods of functional ceramics, advanced non-oxied ceramics, advanced ceramics for energy generation and storage, advanced optical ceramics, advances electroceramics, lead-free piezoelectric ceramics, advanced bio and medical ceramics, advanced ceramic coating
