Course Goal / Objective
Aims to introduce specific to fishing to breeding issue of the most important factor affecting productivity in aquaculture
Course Content
Goal of fish breeding, qualitative and quantitative phenotypes, genotypic and environmental factors, genetic constitution of a population, genotype and environmental variance, resemblance between relatives, heritability, selection, inbreeding and crossbreeding
