Course Goal

Parasitic copepods are small groups of creatures that are very common in fish farming and have a large number of species. This course was opened in order to enable correct identification of parasitic copepod species encountered in the aquaculture of freshwater and marine fish.

Course Content

In this course, the systematic place of parasitic copepods, their general morphology, biology, life cycle and diagnostic methods for morphological identification of parasitic copepods that cause diseases in fish are explained.
