Course Goal / Objective
The aim of the course is to teach special topics such as broodstock management, nutrition, induction of reproduction, gamete storage, biotechnological approaches in hatcheries from aquaculture enterprises.
Course Content
Sperm and egg quality, factors affecting sperm and egg quality, gamete storage, broodstock feeding, biotechnological approaches in broodstock management, brood stock management in carp, trout, sea bass and sea bream, environmental and hormonal manipulations.
