Course Goal / Objective
The fact that climate change will produce a result beyond the expected natural effects requires that immediate measures should be taken to alleviate the negative consequences. Climate change, which is a matter beyond a global environmental problem, will continue to affect the world in the long term. Today, scientific studies have proven that the planet will face changes in temperature and precipitation in the next few decades. In this context, in addition to the impact and dimensions of climate change, it is aimed to teach the common adaptation and mitigation strategies and international roles in combating climate change and the methods of determining the regional climate change.
Course Content
Global approach to climate change, Turkey and Climate Change, Climate Change and its Effects Observed in Turkey, Climate Change Global Adaptation and Mitigation Strategy and Action Plan, Turkey's Climate Change Adaptation Strategy and Action Plan Methodology, Greenhouse Gas Emissions control, agriculture and climate change interactions and determination of trends of climate parameters and decision.
