Course Goal

The aim is to examine the general properties, wild distribution areas, using areas, morphological and biological properties, possibilities of domestication, propagation, cultivation and harvesting of bulbous and tuberous of medicinal plants (Anemone, Arum, Cyclamen, Dracunculus, Galantus, Geranium, Fritillaria, Leucojum, Lilium, Scilla, Sternbergia, Urginea, Gypsophilla, Pancratium, Orchis, Ornithogalum)

Course Content

Basic knowledge about bulbous and tuberous of medicinal plants, determination of the bulbous and tuberous used for folk medicine, determination of these plant species grown naturally or cultivated in the region
