Course Goal

To inform Textile Engineers about Production Management and to teach mathematical and modern methods of planning production.

Production Management and Planning, definitions, concepts, production systems, techniques used for production management, modern production management techniques (such as 5S, Lean Production, 6 sigma, KAIZEN, etc.), production planning methods, demand forecasting, capacity planning, production planning types, production scheduling, mathematical models, Linear programming, integer programming, dynamic programming, MRP, MRP II, ERP, application examples
