Course Goal / Objective
Understanding the adaptation mechanisms developed by different plants in different environmental and soil conditions.
Course Content
This lecture covers folowing topics: i) rhizosphere, ii) adaptation of plants to limited nutrient conditions, iii) spatial nutrient acquisition, iv) chemical nutrient acquisition, v) adaptation to P deficiency, vi) adaptation to Fe-Zn deficiencies, vii) N fixation, viii (i) mycorrhiza and adaptation and ix) adaptation to acid mineral soils.
