Course Goal / Objective
To introduce soilless cultures, to teach practical plant nutrition techniques for balanced and quality production.
Course Content
Introduction of soilless cultures, nutrients, the principles for nutrient preparations, anion-cation balance, characteristics of utilized chemicals and water, nutrient needs of the plants, ion antagonism and synergism, nutritional disorders and quality relationships, sample plant nutrient implementations in different plants.
