Course Goal / Objective
The objective of the lecture is to give students the fundamental consepts of Soil Organic Matter and Its Relation to Mineral Nutrition.
Course Content
Effects of organic matter on physical and chemical properties of soils adsorption, complexion and release of mineral nutrients and the significance of these properties in nutrition of plants. Use of organic matter in improvement of heavy metal contaminated soils. Role of humic and fluvic acids in improvement of plant production.
