Course Goal / Objective

One of the important isue on apiculture in our country is queen bee propogation, this course covers understanding basic concept prenciple and guideline of queen rearring methods teorically and practically, attandent courser become a technician on queen bee rearing, These trained staff member costitute a queen rearing apiary, start to production of queen dependly beekeper’s request at the near surround, eventually vicinity of appiary production capasity and polonation efficiency inceas and income of apiary will higher up.

Course Content

The importance of apiculture in agricultural activities, the role of queen in the hive, queen’s genetic organ, larva laying ability and laying patterns, factors effecting queen bee generation and her quality, origin of queen, queen bee categorization and labeling, determination of queen bee performance, biyological fundemantels of queen rearing, developed queen bee propogation methods, time scaduling in apiary for propogation, records keeping on queen bee performance, apiary arrangement for queen bee propogation,staff tasking and organization in appiary, queen impregnation or artifical insemination, queen bee quality controls, queen bee packaging, its marketing, betterment of markating facility, beekeeper’s want creation on package queen bee marketing, importance of artifical insemination , artifical insemination methods, advantages of artifical insemination,

Having graduated from Animal Science and taken Beekeeping courses.
