Course Goal

To teach the structure, function and importance of the neuromuscular junction, to teach the biophysical events that occur at the neuromuscular junction, to teach and comprehend the potentials that play a role in transmission, the action potential

Course Content

Nervous system, Neuromuscular junction, synaptic potentials, presynaptic potentials, postsynaptic potentials, threshold potential, local potentials, action potential, neuromuscular junction blockers, neuromuscular junction blockers used in medicine
