Course Goal / Objective
It provides students with information about the narcotic analgesic drugs used in the clinic, and gives information to the students about pain and pain types.
Course Content
definition of pain, acute and chronic pain, neuciceptive pain neuropathic pain, narcotic analgesics and their mechanism of action, morphine, codeine and semi-synthetic and synthetic opioid analgesics, general pharmacological effects of narcotic analgesics central action, peripheral effect, narcotic analgesic opiate receptors, classification according to chemical structures , morphine and its derivatives, morphinan and its derivatives, benzomorphan derivatives, meperidine derivatives, methadone derivatives,
