Course Goal
To teach students the mechanisms of action of drugs and their contributions to holistic treatment approaches, to give information about holistic treatment methods, to explain the place and role of pharmacology in treatment approaches in ayurvedic medicine. To explain the pharmacological bases and mechanisms of action in the treatment according to the body type of the patients.

Mechanisms involved in drug action holistic treatment approaches Contribution of lifestyle change to treatment The place of lifestyle in holistic treatment approaches, the place of phytotherapy in holistic treatment approaches What is Ayurvedic medicine? Body types in Ayurvedic medicine, the contribution of determining the body type of patients to treatment, treatment approaches based on body type in life knowledge, body type determination tests, case studies
