Course Goal

Aim of this course is learning and applying tissue preparation techniques for light microscopic and electron microscopic evaluation of organs and tissues .

LO07 Applies staining methods.
LO08 Knows the basics of histochemical staining methods.
LO09 Knows the histochemical staining methods for nucleus and cytoplasmic organelles, connective tissue and enzymes.
LO10 Takes photos of the specimen on light microscope.
LO11 Offers solutions to problems at any technique step of the staining and preparation method.
