Course Goal / Objective
Students know the concepts related to the psychology of old age. Knows the relationship between old age and mental health. Knows the factors affecting health in the psychological structure.
Course Content
The concept of old age, Psychological characteristics of the elderly, Factors that cause psychological problems in old age, Stress, anxiety, death anxiety in old age, mourning, Mental disorders in old age, Organic mental disorders in old age, Psychological approach to the elderly.
