Course Goal

The aim of lesson; 1. To introduce some citrus species and species that are very important in terms of human health and nutrition, which can evaluate the different ecological conditions of our country very well and are therefore cultivated at a significant level, and to have information about them, 2. To introduce and inform the banana, which has reached an important cultivation potential under the cover, 3. To introduce olives, which are native to Anatolia and spread to the world from here, which are considered especially as oil and table (brine) and grown in significant quantities in the Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean and Southeastern Anatolia regions of our country, and is to inform.

Course Content

It contains general information on the definition and classification of citrus, banana, olive and pomegranate plants, their place in the country's economy, their biological characteristics, ecological demands, physiology, reproduction, gardening, annual maintenance, preservation and marketing, and importance for human health.
