Course Goal / Objective
System concept; a systems approach to agriculture; closed, semi-open, open systems and their properties; different agricultural systems in the world; organizations as systems; organizations and their environment; rigid and soft systems features; farming systems and research; The participatory Rural assessment approach, its use in the review and development of systems
Course Content
At the end of this course, students; will have the ability to analyze an existing agricultural system and comprehend the system logic. They will also have the knowledge, skills and attitudes to develop an existing agricultural system or establish a new one.
