Course Goal

Explain sintering and sintering theory, explain sintering diagrams, indicate the effects of sintering on properties

Course Content

Sintering; sintering theory, pore structures in sintering, sintering diagrams, compaction effects on sintering, sintering effects on properties, mixed powder sintering, sintering atmospheres. Properties of powder metallurgy materials. Wrought powder metallurgy products. Applications of powder metallurgy products.
