Course Goal / Objective
Recognizing the areas of planning, recycling, storage and reuse of reclaimed water in the water resources system, while defining improved water and water reuse more clearly regarding wastewater.
Course Content
General introduction to water reuse, definition of terms used and historical framework. The role of the water cycle in the hydraulic cycle and the reasons for water reuse. Determining the reuse areas of wastewater and the difficulties encountered. Composition of improved waters, evaluation within the framework of regulations. Public health and environmental assessment of water reuse. Risk analysis, definition of risk. Examination of primary treatment technologies used in water treatment in terms of treatment reasons and degrees. Storage of reclaimed water
