Course Goal

The aim of the course is to introduce the details of network routing and switching procotols.

Course Content

Concepts of network switching, Hardware architecture of routers and switches, Virtual local area networks, Inter-VLAN routing and switching, High availability in local area networks, STP protocol, Dynamic internal routing, RIP protocol, OSPF protocol, IPv4 address depletion, IPv6, VLSM, Network address translation, Introduction to BGP routing
