Course Goal

To give the students basic knowledge on how the human being interacts with (computers) systems. Give insight on how knowledge of the human capabilities can influence the way in which we construct technical systems. Show methods and techniques for design and construction of user interfaces.

Course Content

Perceptual, cognitive, and social characteristics of people, analyzing the tasks to perform, the way to perform them, the way to think and feel about what they do, the capabilities and limits of computers and other related systems, design and implementation decisions.

Course Precondition

None
