Course Goal

To learn about pesticides, to learn about where they are used, to know what the pictograms of pesticide packs mean, to learn the meaning of each pictogram and to comment, to inform about pesticide exposure ways and negative effects on human health, to learn pictograms about personal protective equipment, to FAO and WHO To read and interpret pesticide packaging labels.

Course Content

To be able to read and interpret the general definitions, types, effects and usage places of pesticides, pictograms on pesticide packagings, personal protective equipments and before, after and after picograms of pesticides and to be able to make suggestions in order to decrease exposure routes of pesticides on human health To be able to read and interpret pesticide packaging labels according to FAO and WHO.
