Course Goal

To understand the concept of drama, to be aware of its development in the world and in Turkey

Course Content

Historical development of drama in Turkey and in the world, basic drama concepts (play, drama, drama, dramatization, role playing, improvisation, creativity, pretend), definition, content and scope of drama, disciplinary areas of drama (educational drama, creative drama) , psychodrama, sociodrama), basic elements of drama (drama leader, group, place, subject), Turkish teacher as drama leader, drama techniques, drama techniques used in Turkish teaching.
