Course Goal

To learn the basic concepts of electrical-electronic circuits and the analysis methods experimentally.

Course Content

Introduction to laboratory. Safety principles and gaining skills to use laboratory tools and electrical measurement devices. Practical introduction of electrical measurement devices and measurement error illustrations with some typical measurement practices. Resistive circuits and analysis. Ohms law ,application of Kirchhoffs current and voltage law. Nodal Voltage and Mesh Current Analysis. Application for Thevenin Norton equivalent circuits and superposition principle.Estimations and practical measurements of values for capacitors and inductors. Experimental study of Transient analysis of RC, RL and RLC circuits. Experimental study of Steady State analysis of RC, RL and RLC circuits, using Phasor Analysis. Impedance and Power measurements in AC SS circuits. Mutual Inductance and Transformers. Applications of passive filter circuits. Variable frequency analysis and resonant circuits.
