Course Goal / Objective
What are cell damage and its mechanisms, to teach the chemicals that cause cell damage and the mechanisms of cell damage, and to have information about the antioxidant system.
Course Content
General mechanism of chemical-induced cell damage, Hepatic and extrahepatic biotransformation of xenobiotics, Formation of free radicals and antioxidant defense system, Lipid peroxidation and cell membrane damage, Role of calcium in cell death, Chemical-induced liver damage and its mechanisms, Cytoskeletal pathogenicity, damage at the organelle level , Intracellular deposits Necrosis and apoptosis
Course Precondition
To be a graduate of the Department of Biology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Food Engineering, Fisheries.
