Course Goal / Objective

To analyze the concepts of official curriculum, extra-curricular activities and hidden curriculum, to compare approaches related to the hidden curriculum, to explain the effect of the hidden curriculum on cognitive and emotional learning, to make people understand the importance of the hidden curriculum in values ​​education and to examine ceremonies, social cultural events, rituals, etc. is to evaluate the school's extracurricular activities in the context of the hidden program.

Course Content

Concepts of formal curriculum and extracurricular activities/hidden curriculum in education; approaches related to hidden curriculum; cognitive and affective domain learning and hidden program; the school as a place of ritual; school ceremonies as extracurricular activities at school; the importance and management of social, cultural, sports and artistic activities at school; The place and importance of the hidden curriculum in values ​​education; Extra-program events (commemoration, celebration, meeting, graduation, etc.) in terms of values ​​education.
