Course Goal

Lean Manufacturing is a production management philosophy based on the basic principles of the Toyota Production System. This philosophy aims to increase efficiency by reducing idle resources, minimize waste and adopt a customer-oriented approach. The aim of the "Lean Production Techniques and Applications" course is to teach students lean production principles, tools and techniques, and to enable them to understand how they can apply this philosophy in businesses.

Course Content

Understanding Lean Production Philosophy: To raise awareness among students about reducing idle resources, increasing efficiency and optimizing business processes by explaining the basic principles and philosophy of lean production. Identifying and Reducing Wastes: To provide students with the ability to identify and reduce wastes in business processes (for example, excess stocks, overproduction, unnecessary movements).
