Course Goal

The aim of this course is to develop conceptual skills regarding the history of science in the Mamluks and to provide them with basic knowledge on subjects such as the adventure of science and its variability according to civilizations and cultures. In this way, the basis is to create an infrastructure to popularize scientific developments.

Course Content

To have information about the interest in science in the Mamluk state, the establishment of the Mamluk ulema class, Mamluk educational institutions, prominent scientists since the establishment of the Mamluk State, madrasas, Mamluk scientific mentality, the change in the Mamluk scientific mentality.
