Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to teach students the basic information about public relations and its applications.

Concept and Importance of Public Relations, Principles of Public Relations, Purposes of Public Relations, Historical Development of Public Relations, Public Relations Models, Target Audience in Public Relations, Work Done in Public Relations, Roles Undertaken, Program Planning and Creativity in Public Relations, Communication Planning in Public Relations, Crisis Communication and Planning, Written, Oral and Visual Program Planning, Public Relations Practice and Intra-Organizational Strategic Communication, Promotion Planning and Promotion, Special Event and Meeting Organizing, Press Release and News Letter, Brochure and Auxiliary Material Preparation, Speech Preparation and Effective Presentation, Communication Tools Used in Public Relations, Media Relations, Application Examples and Evaluation.
