Course Goal / Objective

Establishing some basic skills in order to carry out some technical studies related to pilates and teaching these skills to the students.

Course Content

Definition, history and general information about Pilates. Joseph Hubertus Pilates' life and contributions to Pilates. Mat beginner and intermediate level movements, pre-pilates poses. Posture, breathing and pilates principles. Information about the reformer device and auxiliary equipment used in pilates.
