Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to enable students to learn the impact of sport public relations on the media, how public perceptions are shaped through the media and how communication is used as a strategic tool in sport organizations.

Course Content

The main terms and definitions in Public Relations, the campaign process and its steps in public relations, the examples of public relations campaigns, public relations implementations in written/visual and verbal communications, media strategies and relations, press conference/press release/press invitations, will be discussed, and a sports public relations projects will be prepared by the students.
