Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to comprehensively teach all aspects of tennis training and tournament processes. It covers basic topics such as drill planning, group and individual training requirements, tournament coaching, team captaincy, while also delving deeper into health and medical issues such as career planning for athletes, biological and psychological factors related to female tennis players, nutrition and pre and post injury precautions. This course aims to provide tennis players and coaches with the necessary knowledge and skills to prevent injuries and maintain a healthy sports career while improving their performance.
Course Content
This course aims to examine in depth the technical and practical aspects of tennis training. It covers topics such as the planning and execution of drills, the structure of training processes, the requirements of group and individual training, tournament coaching and the responsibilities of the team captain. It also provides a comprehensive education on career planning for athletes, physical and psychological characteristics of female tennis players, principles of nutrition, pre and post injury precautions as well as medical and emergency management. The course contributes to the development of athletes and coaches by covering all important areas related to tennis.
