Course Goal / Objective

To enable disabled individuals receiving inclusive education to participate in active physical education lessons and physical activities with their typically developing peers.

Course Content

Sharing the basic theoretical background for physical education and sports applications for students with special needs, gaining experience in the application principles of special education in physical education and sports and in this context, inclusion / integration principles, least restrictive environment, frequent / rare disabilities, activity and lesson planning, individualised education programming, adaptations, behaviour management, peer and family support, legal framework.
