Course Goal / Objective
The aim of the Guidance in Schools course is to provide prospective teachers with the knowledge and skills to support the academic, personal, social and professional development of their students.
Course Content
Educational place of guidance and psychological counseling services; philosophy, purpose, principles and program of developmental guidance model (comprehensive developmental guidance and counseling program); basic services / interventions; the role and function of teachers in class guidance; Competencies to be gained in educational, professional, personal and social areas within guidance and counseling services; co-operation between school administrator and teachers, counselor and psychological counselor; preparation and implementation of class guidance and counseling plans and programs.
