Course Goal / Objective

To learn the process of Turkification and Islamisation of Anatolia and the elements that provide it.

Course Content

The conquests in Anatolia during the Umayyad and Abbasid periods, the arrival of the Turks in Anatolia, the Seljuk conquests and the Turkish states established in Anatolia, the elements that ensure the Turkification and Islamisation of Anatolia are explained.
