Course Goal / Objective

To carry out the teaching of writing lessons and to develop personal writing practice skills. To gain knowledge of the correct and economical tools and equipment required for the writing course. To gain the ability to write legible, fluent, beautiful and fast cursive handwriting. To teach to use signature in accordance with the rule by learning the necessity of signature. To gain calligraphic writing skills.

Course Content

Comprehending the basic information about writing as a communication and graphic application area in the historical process. Learns the basic principles, aims and objectives of writing teaching in primary education in order to carry out the teaching of writing lessons and to develop personal writing practice skills. Learns italic handwriting teaching and preparatory work, hand exercises, writing upper and lower case letters and numbers. Learns the importance of the signature and how a correct signature should be. Understands the tools and preparations used by examining calligraphic writings and examples in different cultures. Learns hand exercises and writing applications for calligraphic writings.
