Course Goal / Objective
The objective of this course is to understand and evaluate the philosophical aspects of sports. Students will gain the ability to analyze the role of sport in human life by exploring its social, ethical, aesthetic, and philosophical dimensions. The course also aims to develop critical thinking skills regarding the values, ethical principles, and philosophical foundations of sports.
Course Content
The content of this course includes basic philosophical movements and philosophical perspective, sports philosophy, ethics and sports ethics, olympism, racism, ethnicity, fair play, moral problems of sports and solution proposals, human rights perspective of sports.
