Course Goal / Objective
At the end of this course, it is aimed that students gain practical knowledge about fruit growing, open field and greenhouse vegetable growing, vineyard growing, ornamental plant growing and post-harvest physiology. In addition, it is aimed to have information about the new plant to be built with horticultural plant species, the application of maintenance processes, and the determination of product quality characteristics.
Course Content
Within the scope of this course, our students, who are new to the Horticulture product group, are given information on recognizing the propagation materials in Horticulture species, seeing the production methods, applying the maintenance procedures, and making practically the harvest, yield, and product quality analyzes. On each lesson day, applied practical information is given to the students who take turns in 6 branches of science in our department.
