Course Goal / Objective

Defines mushroom. Builds a mushroom growing room. Describes all stages of button mushroom (Agaricus bisporus) cultivation. Describes all stages of oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) cultivation. Describes all stages of shiitake mushroom (Lentinula edodes) cultivation.

Defines mushroom. Builds a mushroom growing room. Describes compost production in button mushroom (Agaricus bisporus) cultivation. Describes mycelia propagation and obtaining spawn in button mushroom (Agaricus bisporus) cultivation. Describes the ecological conditions required for the cultivation of button mushroom (Agaricus bisporus). Explains the application of case soil in the cultivation of button mushroom (Agaricus bisporus) and its reasons. Describes harvesting and disease-pest control in button mushroom (Agaricus bisporus) cultivation. Describes substrate preparation in oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) cultivation.
