Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to enable the student to learn analytical research methods in landscape planning process, to perform landscape character analysis, to use raster and vector data formats, to apply mapping processes, to analyse a study area and to report the results obtained.

Course Content

Analysis of principal landscape components, preparing thematic maps, and identifying landscape typology.
