Course Goal / Objective
Basic Design I and II, Plant Design I, Plant Materials I, II and III of the knowledge acquired in lectures, observations and experiences integrates ecological principles and criteria. Gain the ability to design sites of landscape which is the scope and scale to reflect the use of different plant designs and the selection and arrangements with the appropriate kind of functional, thematic or symbolic purpose to be effective in conceptualizing .
Course Content
Utilization of plants as design elements to manipulate space and modify the landscape for various activities and resolutions of site problems. Factors that determine the appropriate use and arrangement of plant materials in an urban context. Composition, plant selection, planting techniques, and maintenance requirements are major components of this class.
